When Dr. Slinger asked me to write a testimony about my experience with the Creating Wellness Program, I responded with a definite yes. I came to Dr. Slinger’s office with a lower back problem. I told him that my back problems have make it difficult for me to pick up my 13 month old son. I was 40 years old and the time and I expressed that I was worried I wouldn’t physically be able to do the Father things as he was growing up.

Dr. Slinger did an evaluation and then started to explain a program that his office was about to offer which is called The Creating Wellness Program. It sounded like what I needed. I knew that I would need help getting back in shape.

I started the program weighing 200 pounds and my energy level was very low. When I got off work at night, all I wanted to do was sleep.

I started the Creating Wellness Program with the Diet Plan, strength and cardio workout program, the weekly inspirational insights on a CD and the weekly coaching.

Fifteen weeks later I have make my target weight of 180 pounds and my energy level has greatly increased. I have become much stronger physically and mentally, and am now more confident in my physical ability.

Thanks to Dr. Slinger, his staff and the Creating Wellness Program, I no longer have any trouble keeping up with my son. I feel that I am now in control of my physical and mental health.

I highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to feel better both mentally and physically.

I started coming to Dr. Slinger in May of 2005 with lover left-side back pain. I wanted him to fix my lower back, but I was in for so much more.

In January of 2005 I started getting this left-side pain in my back and went to my family doctor for it. He would adjust me and send me on my way. In February it still wasn’t any better and I was feeling worse. I was telling my doctor how it wasn’t getting any better and besides that I just plain felt awful. I told him I had no energy and he told me to wait it out, that it was probably just the winter weather, I would get better when the weather got better.

I was 27 and felt like I was 67. My husband would complain because I would go to bet at 9:00. I felt like I had no energy for my son. I never had enough energy to exercise and would just watch TV in my spare time. When I got home from work I needed a nap between 4:00 and 5:00 and then I was sluggish for rest of the night.

Dr. Slinger changed all of that. When I went to see him he did a spinal scan and could show me where my back was out of aligned and what vertebrae what linked with my ailments. I couldn’t believe it. It was so neat to see it on paper how everything is linked with the central nervous system. It made sense. We also talked about my weight. My doctor before would never say anything bout my weight. Don’t get me wrong I know I am overweight, but always just thought if my doctor didn’t say anything I must be scooting along ok. It was nice to hear someone speak up and care about my health.

We talked about my pop habits, it wasn’t uncommon for me to have 3 Pepsi’s or Diet Pepsi’s a day. Dr. Slinger told me about the bad stuff in pop and immediately that day I stopped drinking Pepsi. Something I had never done before.

A week later he told me about the Creating Wellness System. With the test results I got back about my health, it was a no-brainer I needed to do something about my health. After all I wanted to feel like a 27 year old. I started the Creating Wellness System plan in June. It’s neat to have an individualized plan for yourself. For the fist time ever in my life I had an exercise plan, eating plan, and coaching help. This plan was going to work.

Today I am in my 7th week and feeling strong. I have lost 10 lbs. and I am going strong. My energy level is high. I would have never done this before. Through the help of Dr. Slinger I am going to win the weight battle. I know I have a ways to go, but I also know I have their support and encouragement to do so.

By the way, my back is feeling much better. Maybe my back pain was a sign from God. Without the back pain I would have never met Dr. Slinger and got the Creating Wellness System.

I have a success story to tell you! I need to start back in my younger days, everyone always said I followed in my fathers footsteps. I could eat and eat and never gain a pound. So that is what I did. I was very skinny and never was concerned about what, when or how much I ate. So I would have to say that I had very bad eating habits. In my 30’s I started to gain weight, it was not a lot so I still did not worry about my eating habits.

Now, I am in my 50’s and I don not like what has happened to me. I have put on several extra pounds, I feel fat, my clothes don’t fit, I’m lazy, have no energy, and in general don’t care. Now on a regular basis I am hearing my husband say, you have put on a few extra pounds, but that’s all right I love you no matter what your size. I was coming home from work and setting in front of the TV eating snacks, not getting the house work done or super started.

Now comes the good part, late last fall, I started to have a lot of headaches and sleepless nights and I decided that maybe I needed to se a Chiropractor, I had not been to one for years and the doctor t hat I used to see had retired. Who do I go to see, then I remembered my father saying that he had been treated by Dr. Slinger and was very impressed with his out come. So, I made the call. I had been seeing Dr. Slinger on a regular basis and feeling much better, when one day he approached me about the Creating Wellness Program. The Creating Wellness program was about learning to eat better, exercising and clearing and cleansing your body of negative thoughts and giving you a positive attitude about yourself. I have never had a lot of will power, but for some reason this program was very exciting for me, maybe because of the over all plan, it was not just about losing weight, it is about making you feel better about yourself.

I started the program the following week, started eating better (I was to eat 3 meals a day plus 21 snacks). I thought for sure I would never loose any weight this way, but I did. I thought for sure I would never loose any weight this way but I did. I exercised every morning for about 20-30 minutes (every other day strength and cardio). I am stronger, more energized and it is easier for me to do my daily chores. Each week I visited my coach she would give me inspirational CD to listen to and motivate me into the next week.

When I had my 15 week evaluation, which is how long the program takes, I had lost 23 pounds and approximately 5”, and had gone down 2 sizes in my clothes. My attitude is so positive. I feel so good when I get up in the morning. I feel like I can do anything that I set my mind too.

I am enjoying the new me and I am so proud to be able to tell people my story, this is such a great program and the staff and Dr. Slinger have been so encouraging and up beaty, they definitely kept me going. I just want to say a very sincere thank you to everyone for keeping me motivated to accomplish my goal. I could have not done it without you.
